Why Minecraft?
In an average Minecraft gaming session, students and teach will often uncover various possibilities for learning. From basic math for crafting, visiting recreations of history sites, writing and reading small messages, and even experimenting with chemistry. All the while, students can interact with one-another and learn more about digital etiquette and safety—important topics for their future in an increasingly online world.

Mark is a parent of two children who utilize 5G skills in digital technologies to create works of art and commerce. Previously he has worked in higher education, the dot com startup world, and in the corporate training arena. His children, now 14 and 10, have attended public schools in Chicago. Mark has served as PTA President, Technology Chair, and Fundraising Strategist, along with being a tutor and volunteer at neighborhood non-profits serving at-risk kids and families.
